If you’re a creative of any kind and have a blog, write a blog (800 words or more & at least 7 images-1500 words is ideal) (alt text images) to help answer one question your ideal client is always asking.
So for me, I’m a birth photographer and I’m going to write about yoga studios, chiropractors and pre natal massage places in my area for moms because we all know mommas need self care ♥️
I will call these places and ask some FAQ’s that moms may ask, and put that into my blog as well!
This is amazing for your SEO and we all may have saw a decline in inquiries due to covid, so this will be something to keep your creative mind going and give a little boost to your website content being updated which is another win for SEO🤓

Blogs are important and a great way to get consistent information to your ideal client as well as providing some useful content and sharing a bit of who you are and what you’re about.
To get started, you need topics specifically of interest to YOUR ideal client. In addition to Brooke’s tip, we wanted to give you a list of great ideas for blog posts! General- Can be used for any photographer
5 things you should know before booking a photographer. Remember you always want to be the expert. Tell them information they need.
Share about yourself. Your WHY, some experience you’ve had that made an impact on you or someone else. Sharing about why you get out of bed and go to work each day or about other life experiences creates connection.
Small peeks into your life. People like to connect with you. Again, connection. In service based business, this is very important.
Share some products/shops/etc that you love. Share products or places you love that appeal to your ideal client
10 things you don’t know about me. Again share YOU. Connection
Share your own journey to motherhood. Sharing your own stories, raw and real can be incredibly useful to others.
Sharing tips that helped you while pregnant or with a newborn. (or get guest bloggers)
Meal prepping. Or anything that may give them tips to make their lives easier. Nicole recently wrote one on meal prepping baby/toddler pouches. Her clients loved it.
Prenatal services. Massage, chiropractic and use what Brooke said above.
Share your favorite businesses. They sell your favorite maternity and newborn products.
Guest Blogger ideas. Doulas, Midwives, Pediatricians, Motherhood Coaches, etc
Local Activities for kids and families.
Share personal stories if you’re a parent.
Favorite kid friendly places. Includes restaurants, cafes, etc.
Guest Blogger/Interviews. Babysitting service providers, Yoga studios, Kids art or music studios, Child Therapist or nutrition expert, etc.
Self Care Tips
5 (or 10) mistakes I’ve made as a business owner. Help others not make mistakes you made.
Share a personal struggle or turning point in business. Again, real stories help establish connection and may help someone with the same struggle or crossroads.
